Shannon’s characters, The Breadcrumbz, teach about friendship, connection, resilience, and acceptance. She would like to address the issue of parents NOT talking with their girls about the problems they are having with their friendships. She believes that if parents establish this communication early, it will help facilitate this type of interaction as girls enter their most difficult years--their teens.
