Helicopter parent

a parent who is overly involved in their child’s life — they "hover" over their child like a helicopter, watching and controlling everything: school, friends, activities, and even decisions in adulthood.

Examples:

1- She wanted to study abroad, but her helicopter parents had already emailed the university with 17 questions before she even applied.

2-  Even at her wedding, her helicopter mom was fixing her dress, her hair, and even her emotions.
