The Final Stretch
Episode 28
Published 9 years, 7 months ago
Description
Jonas and James take a look at the remnants of the Maple Leafs team that lost round one of the 2013 playoffs, and discuss whether that losing "funk" remains in any capacity with the current team. With uncertainty surrounding the blue line, the guys take a look at Morgan Rielly's season to date and gauge what kind of impact his development in a hockey-crazy city like Toronto has had. The debate rages on over optimal line mates for Auston Matthews, and leads to potential line combos for next season...including which Marlies could find themselves with the big club and other potential roster moves. The guys also weigh in on the team's performance at trade deadline.
