TSN's Mark Masters on the Maple Leafs as they near the midway point of the season
Description
TSN's Leaf Reporter Mark Masters joins Jonas and Mirtle for a midseason discussion on the Maple Leafs. The boys talk about Sheldon Keefe's decision to put Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner and William Nylander on separate lines, and how well the experiment worked in the win over the Anaheim Ducks. We wonder what the Leaf goaltending assignments will look like leading up to the all-star break, the prolific Leafs power-play and the resurgence of Marner since his return from injury and COVID-19 protocol.
The guys also pick a player who has exceeded expectations this season, if the Leafs do need to trade for a defenceman before the deadline, who the Leafs matchup best against in the first round and we take your questions in another edition of the podbag.
