Is Erik Källgren the answer to the Maple Leafs goaltending woes, or can we just enjoy his shutout win for what it was?
Description
Jonas and James stick tap Erik Källgren who recorded his first NHL win and shutout in the Leafs 4-0 win over Dallas on Tuesday, but urge the fanbase to hit the brakes on anointing the young puck stopper the next great Maple Leaf goalie. The guys discuss possible Maple Leaf moves with the trade deadline now 5 days out, and which defenders and forwards fit best with the team including Justin Braun, Rickard Rakell, Andrew Copp, John Klingberg and Tyler Motte, and, can the team add a much needed goaltender for the playoff drive, or are they stuck with what they have in Campbell and Mrazek? Plus Mirtle and Jonas offer their opinion on the Auston Matthews two game suspension for the cross check in the Heritage Classic and we take your questions in another edition of the Leaf Report pod-bag.
