O Lord! My feet are tired from roaming around in vain for such a long time.
I have been born again and again receiving all kinds of miseries and not getting a moment's rest because of my ongoing search for happiness.
I continued to receive insults from countless spouses over countless lives, but refuse to get detached even now.
Even though I have read, heard, know and even accept the teachings of the scriptures and the Saints, this crooked mind of mine remains obstinately attached to the world.
“Even though I recite Your glories and pastimes and chant Your names, nevertheless,”
Says Shree Kripalu Ji Maharaj, “without Your grace, O Merciful Lord, the desire of the senses for sense-objects will not go away!"
