Jorge Navarro was born on September 26, 1975, in Panama, and grew up in Puerto Rico. He started working with horses as a teenager, and after moving to the United States, he became a trainer in 2000.
Navarro has trained many successful horses over the years, including X Y Jet, War Story, Private Zone, and Sharp Azteca. He has also won several prestigious races, such as the Breeders' Cup Sprint, the Dubai Golden Shaheen, and the Haskell Invitational.
