Sl: Bojan stoji pred vhodom v Postojnsko jamo.
En: Bojan stands in front of the entrance to Postojnska jama.
Sl: Okoli njega se zbirajo sošolci.
En: His classmates gather around him.
Sl: Poletno sonce greje njihova hrbta, a znotraj jame je hladno in skrivnostno.
En: The summer sun warms their backs, but inside the cave, it's cold and mysterious.
Sl: Profesorica Anja z navdušenjem vodi skupino.
En: Professor Anja enthusiastically leads the group.
Sl: "To je dan, da odkrijemo čarobni svet pod Zemljo," pove učencem.
En: "Today is the day to discover the magical world beneath the Earth," she tells the students.
Sl: Maja medtem pripravlja svoj fotoaparat.
En: Meanwhile, Maja prepares her camera.
Sl: "Utrinek ali dva, pa se boš spomnil tega dneva za vedno," se nasmehne Bojanu.
En: "A snapshot or two, and you'll remember this day forever," she smiles at Bojan.
Sl: Bojan kima, a njegov um je drugje.
En: Bojan nods, but his mind is elsewhere.
Sl: Potrebuje nekaj več kot slike.
En: He needs something more than pictures.
Sl: Hoče najti nekaj posebnega, nekaj, kar bo pokazalo sošolcem in Anji.
En: He wants to find something special, something that will impress his classmates and Anja.
Sl: Skupina vstopi v jamo in že od začetka je vse čudovito – stalaktiti visijo kot ledene sveče, voda kaplja z višine in oblikuje nenavadne oblike.
En: The group enters the cave, and from the very beginning, everything is wonderful – stalactites hang like icicles, water drips from above, forming unusual shapes.
Sl: Bojan je poln pričakovanj.
En: Bojan is full of anticipation.
Sl: Rad bi zapustil pota, po katerih stopajo vsi turisti.
En: He wants to stray from the paths all the tourists walk.
Sl: Ko skupina doseže široko dvorano, Bojan opazi skriti prehod.
En: When the group reaches a wide hall, Bojan notices a hidden passage.
Sl: Na hitro se ozre okoli – profesorica Anja je zaspana ob predavanju vodiča, Maja fotografira.
En: He quickly looks around – Professor Anja is drowsy during the guide's lecture, Maja is taking photos.
Sl: "Zdaj ali nikoli," si pove v mislih.
En: "Now or never," he tells himself mentally.
Sl: Snežno bele stene ga vodijo globlje, korak po korak.
En: Snow-white walls lead him further, step by step.
Sl: "Samo nekaj trenutkov," si obljubi.
En: "Just a few moments," he promises himself.
Sl: Nenadoma zagleda nekaj drugačnega – majhno dvorano s čudovitim, nedotaknjenim skalnim tvorbom.
En: Suddenly, he sees something different – a small chamber with a magnificent, untouched rock formation.
Sl: Navdušenje ga prevzame.
En: Enthusiasm overwhelms him.
Sl: "Uspelo mi je," vzdihne ves sklonjen nad tvorbo.
En: "I did it," he sighs, bent over the formation.
Sl: A poti nazaj ni takoj jasno.
En: But the way back isn't immediately clear.
Sl: Na trenutke sliši odmev skupine, a slišal je tudi drugo, bolj panično – mogoče njegov napredujoč strah.
En: At times he hears the group's echo, but he also hears something else, more panicky – maybe his growing fear.
Sl: "Kaj pa, če bo resen problem, če me ne najdejo?
