In this episode, I talk about the hot weather in Ohio and how much I love the heat, even though I've been stuck in air conditioning all day because of work and because I have a hedgehog at home that needs to stay cool. I share how my day went working on the design side of a Magento 2 application I'm building, and why I enjoy front-end work like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS more than general programming. I get into some memories of swimming growing up and how I think things might have gone differently if I'd been raised another way. I talk about parenting, taking responsibility for how kids turn out, and how much it would mean to me if my parents listened to this podcast, since I don't currently have a relationship with my son. I also share some thoughts on positive and negative energy, questions I have about whether there's a larger negative agenda at play, and a theory I've been forming about the self versus the "other self." I close out after running into some computer issues that ended up taking the rest of my energy for the night.
