STOP THE PRESSES! with Mark Anderson 6.25.25

Today, host Mark Anderson reports on the irony of generally pro-Israel think tanks, in this case the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, willingly conducting public-opinion surveys which reveal that public support for Israel is waning, and that the US should be more involved in nuclear / peace talks with Iran. Also, Anderson discusses the improper attendance at the recent Bilderberg meeting in Sweden by US Congressman (and House Ways and Means Committee Chairman) Jason Smith of Missouri, and asks whether the Missouri Ethics Commission will sanction him for attending, due to Smith’s possible acceptance of gifts from the Bilderberg sponsors. The alleged improper use of public funds to attend the meeting at one of the world’s most expensive hotels is another factor. Bankers, billionaires, and various corporate, major media and high-tech heavyweights — thru whom massive public-private partnerships are quietly forged — gather at Bilderberg every year. CLIFF NOTE: Anderson is awaiting word on whether Missouri will probe Smith’s hush-hush attendance at that meeting, a lot like what happened when then-Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper was found guilty in June 2020 of accepting gifts when he attended the 2018 Bilderberg meeting in Italy.
