What the Heck is National Gluten Free Day?

Season 1 Episode 1131 Published 2 years, 8 months ago
Description

National Gluten Free Day was founded by Cassy Joy Garcia in 2014 to raise awareness for the cause of eating gluten free.

It is observed on the second Monday of January each year. The day aims to help people understand the challenges faced by those who have celiac disease or are gluten-intolerant and to show compassion and care for them.

Listen for some ideas of how to "celebrate" and raise awareness.
