A groundbreaking study highlights the potential of machine learning models to identify patients at risk for undiagnosed Celiac disease using electronic medical records (EMRs). The findings, published in Nature Portfolio, Scientific Reports Journal, found that these models could identify patients with Celiac disease up to four years before the first documented evidence of the disease.
