For episode 173, we welcomed Nathanial Sorensen to the show! Nate is a lionfish hunter and is the founder of Lionfish Extermination Corp. Nate has been in the Lionfish community and hunting lionfish since 2012! Lionfish Extermination Corp is a nonprofit made to raise awareness of the invasive Lionfish, through the removal of these fish from Florida waters, in hopes of balancing the ecosystem. 

In our discussion we covered how Nate got involved in Lionfish hunting, how they ended up in the Florida waters, what makes them an evasive species, how he combats them and with what tools and training, the evolution of technology and gear in what he does, getting poisoned and stung by them, and so much more!
