Cindy Mitchum is John Mitchums daughter, Robert’s niece. Her parents were staunch Republicans, with Her father working as the opening act for Barry Goldwater’s stump trail. Her father was nominated for a Grammy for writing the only album John Wayne ever recorded, America Why I Love Her.
AC Lyles told Cindy she couldn’t be selfish and keep her fathers poetry in a drawer. He said the Country, deserved,no NEEDED to hear his words. We have 56 Western and Noir Stars reciting the poetry on a tribute CD. The highest honor is to give the Country the iconic America Why I Love Her as our National Poem.
