A black male student at Long Island University was suspended for a year after a white female student kissed him at a party and later claimed he sexually assaulted her. She told three different versions of the story, all of which were either contradicted by witnesses — including her own friends — or not corroborated. North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un apologized to South Korea after the communist government shot and killed a South Korean fisherman who may have been defecting to the north on a floating object of some sort.  A double stabbing outside the former Paris offices of a satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo where dozens were killed in 2015 was an “act of Islamist terrorism” despite many French authorities being reluctant to say so... and don't feel bad if you haven't heard about it, the American media has barely mentioned the attack.
