At seven years old, Sandra Rose died during the polio epidemic but came back after being revived in an iron lung. Later in life, she hemorrhaged after surgery and found herself flying over her town, slipping through the stars, and entering a radiant city where she saw her grandfather and stood before a glowing presence she believes was God. There, she was asked whether she had used her “second life” to make a difference—and she promised she would. These experiences, along with a spiritual encounter at a silent retreat, transformed her life with the certainty that divine love is real, and that we are all here for a reason.
