Bittersweet 

describes something that is both happy and sad at the same time.
 It’s a mix of emotions — joy and sorrow all rolled into one.

Examples:

1- Leaving my hometown was bittersweet — I was ready for something new, but I knew I’d miss it terribly.

2- Her last day at the company was bittersweet. Everyone celebrated her success, but they were sad to see her go.
