Kevin Young is the 1992 Olympic Gold Medalist in the 400m Hurdles, and his winning time of 46.78 not only broke the existing world record at the time, but also made him the first athlete to ever run 46 seconds in the event. That world record mark stood for 29 years until it was finally broken in 2021.
