Security Clearance Mobility and New Concerns About Foreign Ties - SCI Episode 20

Published 4 years, 2 months ago
Description

Security clearance mobility is the latest topic of a white paper released by the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA). We sat down with Larry Hanauer, vice president for policy at the INSA, and Gregory Torres, director of personnel security at Booz Allen and chair of the personnel security working group at INSA. They discussed why security clearance mobility is a critical national security issue, including recommendations for improving the process for transferring security clearance eligibility across agencies.

In the second half of the program Lindy Kyzer, ClearanceJobs and Sean Bigley, security clearance attorney, discuss hot topics around foreign influence and security clearances and why current geopolitical issues in Russia and China are creating new concerns for security clearance applicants and holders in those countries.
