Ep. 202 Marcus (960 USCF)

Season 1 Episode 202 Published 10 months, 3 weeks ago
Description

This week on Chess Journeys, I spoke to Marcus. He has made a lot of progress the last few years, gaining 400 rating points. Marcus spent a lot of the time talking about how he uses chess to improve his life. Marcus focused on emotional regulation issues, and how chess is a vehicle for improving this skill. We also talked at length about tournaments and their value. I left the conversation thinking about how chess improves my life, and I imagine you will as well.
