America cannot afford leaders who are ruled by fear, silenced by labels, or blinded by partisanship. In a time when both conscience and courage are in short supply, we must demand leadership that prizes truth over tribalism and justice over performance—especially within our own political ranks.
“God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7 If you’re afraid of being labeled a RINO, afraid to speak up when something’s wrong, afraid to break from the echo chamber—then you’re not leading. You’re managing your survival. That’s not courage. That’s compromise.
Today’s Republican Party must reckon with a truth: fear has been weaponized. Labels have become leashes. And Black conservatives? We've survived worse than names. We've survived fire hoses, forced silence, and dehumanization. If you can’t take the heat of a hashtag, sit this one out.
Donald Trump has made spectacle a substitute for strategy. His strength isn’t policy—it’s performance. And some conservatives are just now beginning to dissent—not out of principle, but because he’s not the one whose name will be on the ballot in 2026. They are.
We do not have to be silent, we can speak loudly both when we agree and/or disagree with Trump actions. This is America. Give me a big AMEN.
