Description
This week, we celebrate Father’s Day with an inspiring message that takes us beyond the surface of our worship practices. Have you ever found yourself caught in the act of worship, but wondering, "Is this for me, or is this for God?" Pastor Austin reflects on a pivotal moment from childhood—a humorous yet poignant story about the not-so-perfect gift he almost bought for his mother. Through this personal anecdote, we’re invited to explore the much deeper question of the motivations behind our worship.

Worship can sometimes feel like a performance or a routine, but this week we’re challenged to realize that it goes far beyond our preferences and feelings. We’ll unpack the distinction between individual worship and communal worship, and how, together, we are called to lift our voices and hearts not for our own benefit, but as an offering to the Almighty God, who deserves our unfiltered praise.
We'll also reflect on important biblical teachings that warn us against crafting worship experiences that are more about our desires than about honoring who God is. As we learn from scripture, it becomes clear that true worship is about ascribing glory to God and engaging in a heartfelt response to His revelation.

Join us in this thought-provoking episode as we examine our own hearts and motivations in worship.
