In this episode of the Privacy & Freedom Podcast, we cover a powerful mix of patriotism, protests, digital security, and the growing momentum in crypto. We kick things off with a celebration of American strength—the U.S. Army’s 250th Birthday Parade held on June 14, 2025. It landed perfectly on Flag Day and President Trump’s 79th birthday. This event was nothing short of incredible: over 6,000 troops, 150+ tanks and military vehicles, and 50 aircraft filled the National Mall. From the Golden Knights parachute team to historical reenactments and live performances like Lee Greenwood, the parade honored America’s military legacy the right way—with pride, strength, and family-friendly events. The price tag? Worth every penny.
Unfortunately, the day wasn’t without its distractions. The so-called “No Kings” protests popped up across the country—loud, ungrateful, and completely missing the point. These protests were framed as “peaceful,” but let’s call it what it was: coordinated chaos. In D.C., about 60 were arrested for pushing past police lines. In LA, another 38 were taken in. Organizers claimed millions participated, but all we saw were loud mobs, anti-American messages, and a total lack of respect for the freedoms they take for granted. Ridiculous.
We then shift gears to something that actually matters: your financial privacy and freedom. Major U.S. banks—JPMorgan, Bank of America, and TD Bank—have all confirmed recent data breaches affecting sensitive customer information. These hacks prove what we’ve been saying for years: your money and your data are not safe in the traditional system. The banks can’t protect you. It’s time to take your digital security seriously—and that means understanding and embracing decentralized systems.
That leads us into the Senate’s progress on the GENIUS Act—a new bill that would finally give stablecoins in the U.S. a clear regulatory framework. This is big. The bill has strong support from the crypto industry and pro-America leaders from the Trump era. It’s a major step toward giving digital assets the legitimacy they deserve, while keeping foreign-backed and centralized nonsense out of our system. This is about protecting national security, enabling innovation, and unleashing economic potential.
Speaking of which—there’s an estimated $3 trillion sitting on the sidelines waiting to enter crypto once regulation is clarified. The market cap has already surged past $3.3 trillion, and that’s just the beginning. This isn’t hype—it’s a movement. And if you care about privacy, financial independence, and freedom from centralized control, now is the time to get educated and get involved.
