#223: The Philosophy of Cryptopsy: Turning Online Toxicity Into Brutal Art!

Episode 223 Published 9 months ago
Description
In episode 223 of Heavy Metal Philosophy, Jon Barbas got an early preview of the upcoming Cryptopsy album 'An Insatiable Violence'. After analyzing the lyrics I got a chance to run my interpretations by lead singer, Matt McGachy. Instead of normal slasher and zombie death metal, Cryptopsy have made a death metal record about the worst parts of the Internet.

What's your take on using negativity as creative fuel? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let's discuss the philosophy of Cryptopsy!
