Description
In this episode, we dive deep into the murky swamps of Florida to uncover the legend of the Skunk Ape — the Sunshine State’s very own Bigfoot. We explore the origins of this elusive creature, how it stacks up against its more famous cryptid cousin, and some of the wildest stories locals have shared over the years.
We also shine a spotlight on Dave Shealy, Florida native and self-proclaimed Skunk Ape expert, who’s spent decades chasing the creature and even runs his own Skunk Ape Research Headquarters. We break down his infamous video footage and look at other supposed evidence before cracking open our own theories about what might really be lurking in the Everglades.
Crack a can and come explore the swampy side of cryptozoology with us.
