In this 310th episode I welcome Dr. Annemarie Thompson, head of the working group that put out the new AHA/ACC Guidelines for the perioperative cardiovascular management for noncardiac surgery, and Drs. Jochen Steppan and Giancarlo Suffredini, cardiac anesthesiologists, to talk about the new iteration of the guidelines. We go through the algorithm in detail and talk about the evidence behind it and how to use biomarkers.
