The Necessity of Obedience… 

Is it - Required? Demanded? Expected? Commanded?

From the Words of Jesus:

John 14:15 - “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

His commandments are not burdensome - 1 John 5:3

Mark 16:16 - “He who believes and is baptized (DOES SOMETHING) will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”

Baptism is an act of obedience.

Luke 6:46 - “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?”

OBEDIENCE IS EXPECTED IF JESUS IS LORD OF YOUR LIFE
