Bridging the Divide: "The Null-Point" - Conversation with Fiona Hughes

Published 5 years, 6 months ago
Description

In this moment in history, the powers that seek to divide us are strong.  The sacramental work of the priest in each one of us is expressed, in part, through the work bridging these divides.

Part of how we can do that is through the art of conversation.

Once a month (about) we will be sharing conversations with our patrons that serve this intention, conversations that reach out beyond the seminary, crossing national, cultural, religious, spiritual and geographical divides.

Today, we share with you a conversation between Jonah and Fiona Hughes, a health coach and consultant in the greater Toronto area.  Fiona has been working with Hesperus, our neighbor community which is an Anthroposophically inspired home for aging adults,  on developing a "Curriculum for Aging".

We spoke about Fiona’s process of developing this curriculum;  how she worked with various images, and how they worked within her. We touch on Steiner’s concepts of trials of initiation in Knowledge of Higher Worlds, as well as his lectures on the Three Kings.
