We all know it's been rough for Oregon on the recruiting trail, but that changed in a major way on Friday. 2026 4-Star Rochester (NY) James Monroe wide receiver Messiah Hampton announced his commitment to Oregon, picking the Ducks over fellow finalists like Miami, Syracuse, Penn State and Georgia. He's the first commitment for new wide receiver Ross Douglas since he was hired by Dan Lanning and Hampton is the first wide receiver to commit to Oregon in the 2026 class.
