Our host, Mike Slater, explores the roots of the problems that led to these horrific riots and aims to provide context and solutions for those issues.

Following the opener, The Honorable Chuck DeVore, Chief National Initiatives Officer at Texas Public Policy Foundation, comes on-air to talk about his personal experience with the 1992 L.A. riots as a member of the National Guard, and provide some firsthand experience on how things were dealt with back then and explain how those lessons could be useful in mitigating damage today.
