Reject The Suffering for God: Theology of Slavery

The misuse of Scripture to control and discourage people is a tragic distortion of God’s truth. Historically, individuals were sometimes taught a selective version of the Bible that emphasized submission while omitting passages about freedom, hope, and redemption. This manipulation led many to believe their suffering was part of God’s design rather than recognizing His deep love and desire for their restoration.

Even today, false teachings can cloud our understanding of God’s heart. But His Word is clear—He calls us to live in freedom, purpose, and truth. We are not meant to carry the weight of oppression or false guilt. Instead, He strengthens us to stand firm in our faith and walk boldly in the path He has set before us.

Personal growth begins with recognizing truth—seeing beyond the limitations placed by others and embracing the strength within yourself. When you learn to discern God’s voice above the noise of false teachings, you gain confidence in His purpose for you. Stepping into freedom means releasing past burdens, healing from spiritual wounds, and allowing yourself to live fully in His grace.

It is essential to reject the idea that suffering is a form of favor to God. While hardship and trials can refine us, God does not delight in suffering—He desires wholeness, joy, and restoration for His people. Faith is not about enduring pain to earn approval, but about walking in His love and trusting His promises. His plan is not to burden us, but to lift us up, to redeem and restore, and to guide us into His peace.

Be encouraged God sees you, loves you, and desires for you to walk in His truth. Your faith and willingness to embrace the fullness of His Word will bring strength, clarity, and renewal. Keep pressing forward, knowing that His grace surrounds you, His truth sustains you, and His love never fails.
