The Cincinnati Reds defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-2 Sunday afternoon at Great American Ball Park, completing an impressive series sweep. Matt McLain delivered the go-ahead two-run homer in the bottom of the 7th off Zac Gallen, sealing the victory. Christian Encarnacion-Strand and José Trevino also went deep with solo shots to power the Reds' offense. The bullpen was dominant once again, tossing three shutout innings, highlighted by Taylor Rogers’ best outing as a Red. Cincinnati now heads to Cleveland for the second round of the Battle of Ohio against the Guardians.
