The time is now 11:00 AM in New York, I'm Noa Levi and this is the latest Israel Today: Ongoing War Report.

Today, at eleven a.m., we bring you the latest updates from the ongoing security and geopolitical developments across the Middle East and beyond.

Israel remains fully engaged in multiple fronts, with recent counterterror operations in the West Bank demonstrating its ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist networks. Over the weekend, Israeli security forces, guided by precise intelligence from Shin Bet, carried out targeted arrests in Jenin and surrounding areas, including the apprehension of Muslim Mazarwa, a key figure in the Jenin terror group. During these operations, soldiers seized weapons, including firearms, and found evidence of plans for imminent attacks. No Israeli casualties have been reported so far, and suspects are being transferred for further investigation.

Meanwhile, in Gaza, the Israel Defense Forces struck a Hamas- and Palestinian Islamic Jihad-linked currency exchange office in Gaza City. The facility had been used to transfer tens of millions of dollars supporting terror activities, according to military sources. The IDF also confirmed that terrorists in Gaza continue to exploit hospitals for planning and executing attacks, with recent strikes targeting a compound in the courtyard of the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City, which was used as a command and control site by terrorists posing as journalists. Israeli forces also arrested the commander of Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s Jenin Battalion during a special operation near Jenin last Friday.

In the northern front, Israel’s military revealed the identities of two Islamic Jihad terrorists who operated undercover as journalists in Gaza, using a compound at the Al-Ma'madani Hospital to coordinate terror activities. The IDF emphasized the ongoing challenge of terrorists disguising themselves within civilian infrastructure, exploiting the hospital’s premises for plotting attacks against Israeli troops and civilians.

On the diplomatic level, tensions continue as Iran denies allegations by the IAEA of undeclared nuclear activity, accusing Western powers of bias and blaming Israel for sabotage. Iran also claims to have seized a large trove of Israeli nuclear and strategic documents, though these reports remain unverified. Tehran's accusations come amid heightened concerns over Iran’s nuclear ambitions and regional influence.

In other international news, an Israeli woman, Michal Peleg, is missing on the island of Crete, Greece. Authorities are actively searching for her, with a team from Israel assisting local efforts.

In financial and security-related developments, an Israeli man was detained in Albania after attempting to leave with nearly €194,000 in undeclared funds. Additionally, there are reports of ongoing covert operations and heightened security alerts in Israel, with military officials urging caution and confidentiality as operations continue in the background.

Domestic reports also include a tragic incident: a 51-year-old woman in Bat Yam was found in critical condition after drowning at the beach. Emergency services responded promptly, providing medical aid and transporting her to Wolfson Hospital.

Finally, in a significant step for the Thai-Israeli community, the family of Natpong, who had been missing for over 610 days, received news of his remains being returned. The community expresses both sorrow and relief, thanking Israeli security forces for their efforts in bringing closure.

That concludes this hour’s update. We will continue to monitor all developments and bring you further updates as they unfold.
