In Lebanon, a Lebanese parliament member, Kamal Shimon, who leads the Free National Movement, has publicly questioned the Israeli military's actions in southern Lebanon. He accused Israel of targeting children on their way to school, citing footage provided by the Rebel Brigade channel, which shows alleged Israeli strikes. These claims come amid heightened tensions following Israeli military operations against Hezbollah and other militant groups.

Meanwhile, France has initiated a criminal investigation into dual French citizens who blocked aid trucks destined for Gaza, accusing them of acts related to "genocide." The probe was launched by the French anti-terror prosecutor’s office following complaints from the French Jewish Union for Peace and a French-Palestinian advocacy group. France’s armed forces minister reaffirmed that France is not selling weapons to Israel, citing economic competition and strategic restrictions, although some military components like Iron Dome parts are exported.

In Gaza, reports indicate a series of Israeli airstrikes on the house of the Abu Shairea family in the Tzabra neighborhood. Local sources report that the family received evacuation warnings but refused to leave, leading to a strike that caused numerous casualties. The situation remains volatile, with high casualties reported in the area.

In the West Bank, Israeli forces arrested the commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s Jenin Battalion during a special operation near Jenin on Friday night. The operation also detained two other individuals, further escalating tensions in the region.

Lebanon’s southern border remains volatile as supporters of Hezbollah engaged with UNIFIL forces entering the village of Tsur, in southern Lebanon. The confrontation underscores the ongoing friction along the border, where militia groups continue to challenge international peacekeeping efforts.

In other regions, a tragic accident occurred in southern Israel where a six-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. Emergency services responded swiftly, and the child was transported to Barzilai Hospital in moderate condition.

Internationally, Turkey’s health minister reported that fourteen thousand Turks were injured during sheep and cattle slaughtering rituals for the Eid al-Adha holiday, emphasizing the scale of the annual religious festivities. Former Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu announced plans to request entry into Gaza via the Rafah crossing after the holiday, urging other Turkish officials and figures to join him.

On the security front in France, the French defense minister clarified that no weapons are being sold to Israel, citing economic competition as a primary reason.
