Doug Figgs named 2023 IWMA Entertainer of the Year!!!
2023 IWMA Entertainer of the Year, and The Cowboy Way trio was named 2023 Group of the Year for the 6th time. Doug's album “Yellow Horse” was named 2022 IWMA Western Album of the Year! Pretty dang good considering he didn't write his first song until 2011. He has written and produced no less than 6 albums since and currently working on more.
We had the honor of sitting down with Doug in Elko during the 40th Annual National Cowboy Poetry Gathering. This was only his 2nd trip to the historical event, but we promise it won't be his last. He is fast becoming one of the crowd favorites. We hope you enjoy this episode.
