There are SO MANY tools you can use to work through these feelings, but I've noticed with my friends, family, and clients that when you are triggered, they fall out of your brain!!!

The day I recorded this episode, I was talking to a friend who was feeling anxious and kinda frozen.  Her typical MO would be to get busy and distract herself (tell me you can relate!!). We texted a bit, and she said, "Sometimes when we are anxious, we need a roadmap." She's so right.

The process I teach in this episode is pretty special. It's a technique that is just starting to gain traction in social media. I've seen it here or there - but it's not commonly discussed. I love being early on a trend, lol.

So if waking up with a knot of anxiety in your stomach is all too familiar, today is the day to discover this powerful technique to help navigate the overwhelming feelings that accompany this challenging time. Join me in today's episode as I share my personal experience and the practical methods I've embraced to process triggers and emotions during divorce.

"What we resist persists. It pushes through. It ain't going away on its own, love, so let's dig in." -Dawn Wiggins

Butterfly tapping has been a game-changer in my emotional regulation, and I can't wait for you to learn about its transformative power. This bilateral stimulation technique helps process energy from painful experiences, and I'll walk you through how I used it to overcome my fear of health-related financial stress during my divorce. We also delve into the importance of having professional support and taking the time to allow big feelings to flow through us.

Nature and mindfulness are powerful allies in our journey to process triggers and anxiety. In this episode, we explore the impact of combining butterfly tapping with journaling and immersing ourselves in nature to refine and process our emotions. We'll also discuss the significance of setting boundaries in relationships and prioritizing self-care during such tumultuous times. Give butterfly tapping a try, and let me know how it works for you!
