In various places in Shas, there is a difference in the sentencing based on whether a Jew killed a fellow Jew or a non-Jew. However, both are strictly prohibited as murder according to Jewish law. This week’s shiur will focus on a contemporary teshuva from Rav Yehuda Amital z"l dealing with this important issue in the aftermath of the Sabra/Shatila massacre in 1982.
