College World Series is hardest tournament to win | Ven-Allen Lubin to NC State breaking brains | Lightning Round | OG391

Episode 506 Published 10 months, 2 weeks ago
Description

The Stanley Cup Playoffs might be the most physically demanding sports tournament to win, but the NCAA baseball tournament might be the hardest overall thanks to the randomness of college pitching. Ovies and Giglio open the show with a little SEC schadenfreude, while also highlighting just how wild it is for some of these teams to have exited the tournament so early. The Athletic's Brendan Marks joins the show to celebrate "Belichick June 1st Contract Day" and take a look at these finalized basketball rosters for Triangle teams. Ven-Allen Lubin might've broken the brains of some fans, but it's just the nature of the business these days. In the Lightning Round, the guys process "Inside The NBA" moving to ESPN, playing football in a dome, and Giglio's crazy new idea for social media. You'll also want to hear the best OG Sports Phone call regarding Rod Brind'Amour and the Carolina Hurricanes.
