Sl: Podzemni svet Postojnske jame je bil skrivnosten in čaroben.
En: The underground world of the Postojnska jama was mysterious and magical.
Sl: Stalaktiti in stalagmiti so se lesketali v soju umetne svetlobe.
En: The stalactites and stalagmites glistened in the glow of artificial light.
Sl: Poti so bile ozke, zrak pa hladen in vlažen.
En: The paths were narrow, and the air was cold and damp.
Sl: Vse je bilo kot iz pravljice, ki jo pripoveduje sama narava.
En: It all seemed like a fairy tale told by nature itself.
Sl: Matej in Maruša sta stala pred vhodom.
En: Matej and Maruša stood at the entrance.
Sl: Maruša je navdušeno kazala na stene, razlagala o zgodovini jame in živalih, ki jo poseljujejo.

Sl: Skrbelo ga je, kako bo reagirala Maruša, če ugotovi, da je nerodno bolestno občutljiv.

Sl: Poti so postale daljše in dihanje vse glasnejše.
