Follow the Red Flags: Recovering Stolen Wealth in Elder Abuse Litigation with Stewart Levin, Esq.

Season 1 Episode 31 Published 10 months, 2 weeks ago
Description

Financial elder abuse has reached epidemic proportions, fueled by an aging population holding appreciating real estate and substantial investment portfolios. Opportunists—from family members to fiduciaries—are increasingly exploiting vulnerable seniors through undue influence, fraud, and taking advantage of lack of capacity.

In this dynamic program, Stewart Levin, Esq., will share real-world insights from his extensive experience as a trial lawyer handling complex plaintiff-side financial elder abuse cases, often in conjunction with neglect-based claims. Drawing from actual examples, Mr. Levin will highlight wrongful transfers of estates, real property, and financial assets involving forged or manipulated deeds, wills, and trusts, as well as those secured through undue influence, fraud, or lack of capacity. He will identify red flags, outline critical legal strategies, and provide practical tools for effectively prosecuting these cases. This session is a must for any attorney or professional advising older adults or their families.
