यदा पुष्करनगरनृपः कदाचित् रुग्णः जातः तदा राजपुरोहितः सूचयति यत् विपुलस्य सुवर्णस्य दानकरणेन राजा स्वस्थः भवितुम् अर्हति इति । तद्वदेव राजा दशकोटिसुवर्णमुद्राणां दानाय व्यवस्थां करोति । किन्तु मन्त्री नगराध्यक्षः च वञ्चनां कृत्वा अल्पम् एव धनराशिं प्रजाभ्यः दत्तवन्तौ । विपुलं दानं कृत्वा अपि यदा नृपः स्वास्थ्यं न प्राप्तवान् तदा सः सुवर्णस्य दानं योग्यरीत्या अभवत् उत न इति ज्ञातुं गुप्तचरान् प्रेषितवान् । गुप्तचरैः सर्वं ज्ञात्वा राजा मन्त्रिप्रभृतीन् सर्वान् कारागारे स्थापितवान् । पुनः राजा दशकोटिसुवर्णमुद्राः प्रजाभ्यः वितीर्य मासाभ्यन्तरे नीरोगः अभवत् ।

When the king of Pushkar city fell ill at some point, the royal priest suggested that the king could recover by donating a large amount of gold. Following this, the king arranged for the donation of ten crore gold coins. However, the minister and the city administrator, through deceit, gave only a small amount to the citizens. Despite the significant donation, the king did not recover, so he sent spies to investigate whether the gold donation had been conducted properly. The spies uncovered everything, and the king imprisoned all those involved, including the minister. Subsequently, the king distributed the ten crore gold coins to the citizens, and within a month, he regained his health.
