Doctor Who: Wish World and The Reality War - REVIEWED!
Description
Send us a text and let us know what you think of our podcast!
It is the end ... but the moment has (not?) been prepared for...
What we thought was a regular season finale turned out to be a Regeneration story as Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor bid farewell to us after two, too short seasons!
In this episode of our podcast, we look at both Wish World and the second part of the finale, The Reality War and discuss a whole lot of things including...
- the overall feelings regarding the Fifteenth Doctor era
- RTD and the "Yes" men
- answers and their absence, particularly in relation to Mrs Flood talking to the audience!!
- wasting characters - we're looking at your decrepit corpse, Omega!
- was this always meant to be a Regeneration story?
- literally putting Belinda in a box
- Poppy! Would that all have worked better with Ruby?
- Nonsense that doesn't make sense
...and of course we tackle two of the biggest bomb shells to come out of this episode...
...the return of Billie Piper as...maybe The Doctor? Our reactions are polarized on this!
But one thing we do agree on is, the return of Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor is a glorious moment to treasure!
And of course, we hear from our listeners with their thoughts too!
