Where are your eyes leading you? Samson’s life is a warning about the danger of following unchecked desires. He was set apart for God’s service, blessed with supernatural strength, yet his downfall began with what he chose to see. He pursued what looked good, even when it was outside of God’s will.

Judges 15–16 reveals how small compromises lead to major failures. Samson ignored wise counsel, sought relationships that dishonored God, and assumed his strength would always remain. But when he revealed his secret to Delilah, his physical blindness became a tragic reflection of his spiritual blindness. The man who once tore down city gates was now led away in chains.

Yet even in Samson’s darkest moment, God’s grace was still available. His final prayer shows true repentance and renewed dependence on God. His story is a reminder that no failure is beyond redemption.

This episode challenges you to evaluate what you are pursuing. Are you following what pleases God, or are you chasing what will ultimately destroy you? Learn how to guard your heart, trust God’s wisdom, and finish your race with faithfulness.
