Sl: Občutek pomladne svežine je bil v zraku.
En: The feeling of spring freshness was in the air.
Sl: Okoli njega so bila drevesa v polnem razcvetu, ptiči so čivkali in ljudje so prihajali in odhajali s volišča.
En: Around him, the trees were in full bloom, birds were chirping, and people were coming and going from the polling station.

En: However, he did not expect that this mark would be in the form of a knight's armor.
Sl: Ko je vstopil v stavbo, mešanico starega in modernega, sončna svetloba pa je skozi velika okna nežno sijala na hodnike, so se vsi pogledi usmerili k njemu.
En: As he entered the building, a mix of old and modern with sunlight gently streaming through the large windows onto the hallways, all eyes turned to him.
En: Žan had forgotten that today was a costume party day and not a day to dress like a knight.
Sl: Počutil se je neprijetno.
En: He felt awkward.
Sl: "Kaj zdaj?
En: "What now?"
Sl: " se je vprašal.
En: he asked himself.

Sl: Pristopila je k njemu in ga potegnila k sebi.
En: She approached him and pulled him closer.
En: "Žan, you see, you've mixed up the days a bit.
Sl: Ampak to ni pomembno.
En: But it doesn't matter.
Sl: Ljudje bodo razumeli.
En: People will understand."
En: Žan was on the verge of leaving the polling station.
Sl: Vendar je Tinin nasmeh in tople besede spremenil njegovo odločitev.
En: However, Tina's smile and kind words changed his mind.
Sl: Matej, izkušen volivec in znanec, je prišel mimo in mu prijateljsko svetoval: »Ničesar se ne boj.
En: Matej, an experienced voter and acquaintance, walked by and amicably advised him: "Do not fear anything.
Sl: Tudi vitez ima svoje pravice.
En: Even a knight has his rights."
Sl: «Odločil se je ostati.
En: He decided to stay.
En: When he finally approached the voting booth, the armor clanked awkwardly, drawing even more attention.
En: Žan was as red as a pepper, but nevertheless, he determinedly filled out the ballot.
En: After voting, Matej beamed widely and said, "Your vote resounds like a bell!"
