All student visa applications to the United States are officially on hold. The Trump administration gave orders to all U.S. embassies to freeze all student visa applications. This happens while President Donald Trump is looking to stop government funding to Harvard, and just after a federal judge blocked his ability to stop Harvard’s ability to enroll foreign students.
In other news, COVID-19 is back. A new variant of the virus has now been detected among people at U.S. airports, as cases begin to rapidly increase in parts of Asia.
