Hey everybody! Episode 25 of the show is out. In this show, I spoke with my friend Luis Solarat. Luis and I met recently and it has been a pleasure getting to know him. He is a director of a number of films including the very good plant-medicine documentary Reconnect, by London Real. He has recently begun dieting plants in the Shipibo tradition and has a real interest in plant medicine, esoteric traditions, and helping people. He has a wisdom born out of many different disciplines, and it was great sitting down and speaking with him. I think you all will get a lot out of this episode. “Luis Solarat is a filmmaker born in Spain. He left his job in advertising and moved to London searching for a career in filmmaking. There he found projects where he could combine his passion for storytelling with his interest in philosophy, psychedelics, and the occult. For 5 years he was the main film director and creative director at London Real, a big YouTube media channel about self-development that interviewed some of the most interesting people on the planet. His focus there was to feed the YouTube algorithm with spirituality, psychedelics, and positive content. After five feature-length documentaries and more than 300 interviews, he left his job in London behind and traveled to Peru searching for new stories...”
