Description
On Episode 130, we're bringing you the 3rd installment of our 90's Flashback series. On this R&B Edition, we have music from Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, D'Angelo, SWV, R. Kelly, Usher, Boyz II Men, plus a little hip-hop love from LL, Biggie, Nas, Jay, Mobb Deep, Foxy Brown and Lil Kim.
90's R&B was a special time for many of us and if you lived it, you loved it. At the break we get into what this genre meant to us. We dive into the careers of Jodeci, R. Kelly and Mary J., as well as Heavy D, Puff and Teddy Riley and how they helped marry hip-hop and R&B.
Stay tuned because this is an episode you're going to have on repeat all summer long!
