Beginning in 2018, Texas parents JeffYounger and Anne Georgulas fought over custody oftheir twin children, born in 2012. The case has attracted national attention,as one of their children is an approximately twelve-year-old transgendergirl who started identifying that way and was diagnosed with genderdysphoria at age five.
