I’ve witnessed people upset that they don’t have their dream job.

I know that someone can’t just wiggle their nose and make that happen. (Yes, that was a Bewitched reference for those that know.)

I also know there are some things that make things harder for some people than others.

However, harder doesn’t mean impossible. Harder means you have to work for it. Harder means once you get it, it feels so much more gratifying.

Focusing on the negativity will only bring negativity. Focusing on the positivity will bring positivity, even if it’s hard to see.

The initial quote comes from Will I Am being told very early in his career by his mom to get a job. He responded this way because he felt he had a job, however, he wasn’t being paid for it yet.

He knew he was in the nightmare, but was focused on the dream. His nightmare was that he had to do something else for money until he could make enough from his dream. Some people lose sight of this mentality. They allow the job they are doing distract them from their dream. They don’t work to make the dream a reality.

Will I Am’s energy flowed toward what he felt was serving him the best. Other people didn’t need to see what he saw. He saw it and that was more than enough for him. Thanks to that mentality we have so many great things from him to enjoy (and not just his music).
