Behind The Battles | Camp Douglas
On this episode we take a look at the Union Army POW Camp Douglas. Sometimes described as the "Andersonville of the North" as almost 4,500 prisoners died in the camp. Many of these deaths came from disease from the horrible living conditions inside the camp leading to Camp Douglas having a death rate of about 17%.
